The Copley Consulting Group announced it has been selected by MD Think, a $195 million federally funded program to build a technology platform to transform the delivery of vital human services to Maryland residents. Along with Qlik, a leader in data analytics, The Copley Consulting Group will help Maryland advance its Health & Human Services (HHS) technology infrastructure, streamline data, and improve the customer servicing process.

“With increasing volumes of data across state agencies, MD Think and its HHS providers will be better able to advance and enhance services that protect the health and safety of their communities,” stated Robert Lane, CEO of The Copley Consulting Group. “By using modernized analytics, Maryland’s Health and Human Services will integrate and connect disparate data, increasing its value to reveal key information across agency departments.”

Announced by Maryland Governor Larry Hogan in March of 2017, MD Think, or Maryland Total Human-services Information Network, is a cloud based data repository that aims to break down traditional silos and data barriers between state agencies. Its aim is to provide integrated access to programs administered by agencies including DHR, Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Department of Juvenile Services, and the Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation.

The MD Think platform is expected to deliver significant cost savings and increase agency productivity and efficiency. Its scalable, cloud-based platform will enable enhanced data analytics from Qlik to be utilized by agencies state-wide to deliver streamlined program operations and services to state residents.
