Robert B. Lane, CEO
Meet Our Team
Robert Lane is the CEO of The Copley Consulting Group responsible for growth strategies and the quality of all solutions and professional services provided to Copley’s clients. He is a former senior consultant with KPMG where he helped lead the Management Consulting Practice in New England. With other KPMG alumni, he helped found Copley over 25 years ago and has built the organization to a Gold Level Channel Partner status with Infor and Elite Status with Business Analytics Market Leader, Qlik.
Mr. Lane is also a founder and board member of EPAC Software Technologies, an Enterprise Asset Management software company.
Bob is, and has been a board member of several charitable organizations including Creative Arts and Wakefield Alliance against Violence. He has been an adult mentor with Wakefield Adult Mentors (WAM), a program offering adult leadership for at-risk children. He is a proud graduate of the University of Massachusetts - Amherst.
C. Paul Oberg, a Certified Management Consultant, earned a BSIE from Northeastern University and an MBA from Providence College. Prior to co-founding The Copley Consulting Group, Paul held previous positions in industry as COO, Senior VP of Operations and Engineering Manager as well as Managing Director and Managing Principal for international consulting firms.
Paul has extensive experience in the areas of operational and productivity improvement, strategic planning, business planning, software development and design, enterprise asset management, financial management and business assessments. His professional affiliations include Industry Advisory Board (Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering) for the College of Engineering Northeastern University, Director of RI Chapter ISE, Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State, APICS, Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals and Institute of Management Consultants.
Andy Funk is Copley's Vice President of Professional Services. In this capacity, Andy is responsible for the entire professional staff at Copley including, staff development and education, product development and engagement planning and execution and quality control. He is also an active participant in numerous projects lending extensive insight and experience in the areas of business and operations management. Andy is considered one of the foremost CSI - SyteLine experts in MRP and Advanced Planning & Scheduling. Prior to joining Copley, Andy was the Division Manager for the Advanced Component and Filter Subsystem Division of Filtronic PLC, a high-tech company engaged in the design and manufacture of mission critical, state of the art microwave and communication equipment for the Space and Launch Vehicle, Military and Aerospace, Commercial Telecom infrastructure and Medical industries. Additionally, having authored the program approved by U.S. State Department to allow a U.K. based company to operate a U.S. business division maintaining a U.S Facility Security Clearance, Andy served as the Special Security Oversite authority and Deputy Technology Control Officer responsible for compliance to U.S. Export Control and Security Regulations, reporting to the companies, U.S. State Department assigned, U.S. Board of Directors and the US Defense Security Agency.
During his years 27 years in Aerospace, he held numerous positions in Manufacturing, Quality Control and Quality Assurance Engineering, Production Control and Inventory, Product Line Management, and Director level positions in Sales and Marketing, Project Management, Contract Management, and Division Management. Andy was a specialist in Government contract management through DCMA and DCAS as well as other regulated industries. Andy has authored, achieved certification and managed multiple Quality and Program management systems in accordance with governmental, industry and international standards.
Andy attended Framingham State University and Northeastern University for Finance and Operations Management.
Bill has a strong and varied background within the ERP space, working with Fortune 1,000 companies and start-ups. He has had P&L responsibility for a number of organizations up to a $65 million unit. During the performance of his duties, in addition to providing sales & marketing guidance, he also delivered implementation and development services. This broad spectrum of experiences assures that he considers each client’s requirements from a truly consultative perspective. While delivering strong sales results is critical in his role with Copley, the focus on customer satisfaction is paramount. Bill received his bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University in Boston.
Lisa Joseph is the Vice President of Corporate Strategy for The Copley Consulting Group responsible for driving forward corporate strategy, including identifying new partnerships, business development opportunities, and customer engagement strategies. Prior to joining Copley, Lisa was the Vice President of North American Channel Sales for Infor, responsible for managing all North American Infor partners and product sales with a focus on Enterprise Solutions. Lisa has an extensive background in technology that spans ERP, Document Management, Search, and Publishing across multiple industries, managing operating budgets of over $100M. She has been a sales, marketing and channel executive for industry-leading companies, including OpenText and StreamServe, where she was responsible for driving growth with a focus on solving customer challenges. Lisa is a graduate of the University of Vermont.
Jen is The Copley Consulting Group's Vice President of Finance. She leads the accounting, financial reporting, and administrative functions for Copley. Prior to joining the company, Jen worked as an internal auditor for United Natural Foods, Inc., a Fortune 500 company. Jen began her accounting career as an auditor for Sansiveri, Kimball, & Co., a regional public accounting firm based in Providence, RI. Jen has been an active Rhode Island Certified Public Accountant since 2009. She attended the University of Rhode Island where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Accounting.
