Copley had worked with Tab Products, a sister company of Maverick’s, as a result Copley was selected as the implementation partner. Maverick Is implementing a SaaS environment of the Infor OS, CSI, CPQ/EQ solutions. Users will be able to Configure finished good items in either the Estimate or Customer Order lines forms, which can create either Estimate or Job Order BOMs directly from the configuration tools.

Phase 2 will release the EQ functionality to allow distributors to directly build quotes that can be released to CSI to be converted to orders without additional manual entry. Post-Go Live plans are also already being established, to roll out a nearly identical solution footprint to Maverick East, located near Cincinnati, OH. Maverick West (Los Angeles) and Maverick East are positioning to strengthen their presence in the market, leveraging the ERP continuity gained in Sales, Operations, and Finance.
Copley met with Maverick personnel to explain the functionality of the CPQ toolset, and from these meetings we were able to build a template ruleset for one of their finished goods. The Maverick team learned the CPQ toolset from working with this model and began developing additional required rulesets.
Tony Pacheco, Maverick’s President and head of Sales identified this as the key process targeted by deploying the CSI/CPQ/EQ solution. Creating a consistent, efficient, and accurate quoting, ordering, pricing model both internally and from the customer perspective was his number one goal.
